Hi,

i have a problem with instalation NAV 5.0 SP 1 - CsideClient to my Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1 Pro. Now we have standart NAV 5.0 CsideClient and everything works fine ! But now, i tryied update Client to SP1 and display this message Error 1935. But on server i have installed SQL Server 2008, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redisributable x64 & x86. When i istall NAV 5.0 SP1 database server Installation was successful...

Precisely is this the error shown? support.microsoft.com/.../953610

Seems you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 hence probably Visual C++ 2008 is not supported.
