First day of week

Hello guys,

I would like to set up AX so that when I choose from the calendar in a date field the first day of the week to be Monday instead of Sunday. My region settings in Windows 10 is set correctly to Monday but apparently AX doesn't get these settings. Can anyone help? Is there a way to do this without code? I am using AX 2012 R3 CU11.

It is definitely a code change I am afraid, there are already blog articles about potential fixes.

Yes, I tried the code change and it works but it seems to me like an overkill for a simple setting like that. Anyway thank you for your help.
