Hi,
Can someone tell me where is the document stored, when I upload a document configured storage as Azure Storage for my document type? Can I get the access to the Storage? Any limit on the storage capacity?
Hello Pradeep,
Welcome to the cloud! Azure storage is stored in Blob storage.
Here is where these documents go: docs.microsoft.com/.../storage-blobs-introduction
sainacloudconsulting.com/.../part-1-azure-blob-storage-with-dynamics-365-for-operations
For capacity, according to this article (in the FAQ) you get 40 GB but there may be differences depending on licensing: docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-document-management
Kind regards,
Danny
Thanks Danny. But my question is where can we see the files that are attached as attachments for the records.
Do we have any connection string ?
Attachments are stored in a Blob Storage associated with a D365 environment. Connection string to write / read directly is not supported. You can “discover” D365 connection string of Blob Storage using a debugger, but I personally not recommend that approach.
You can download / view attachments using standard forms or using standard API’s.
