Project invoice proposal with multiple lines and retention caluculation

Dear Experts,

I have setup 3 Progress billing rules for a project contract, let us assume the value of Bill#1 is 100,000, Bill#2 is 50,000 and Bill#3 is 20,000. All the bills have a default retention value of 5% attached to it.

When they work is 100% completed, i am going to raise a invoice proposal for the above values.

Expected results. Bill#1 100,000 with retention 5,000. Bill #2 50,000 with retention 2,500 and Bill#3 20,000 with 1000 as retention. Total value = 95000+47,500+19000 which is 161500 and retention = 8500.

The values i got from system was, sum of all bills 170,000 with sum of retention 15%, 170,000-25500 = 144,500

Is this the standard behavior or am missing something?

Hi Jiwan,

Did the get the answers for this??

As far as I understood the scanrio, System will calculate the retention amount as per your ecpectation, i.e. 5% of invoice amount not 15%.
