Workflow: Permissions and Privileges

Hi

Can anyone tell me what security role, or permissions and privileges a user must have for a workflow (Case Management) item to be successfully assigned to the user.

We are using the case management workflow, with workflow element assignments set to group participants. Currently if a user in the group does not have System Admin rights the workflow stops.

I have created a custom role with all the case management privileges and duties assigned to it but to no avail.

Would highly appreciate any assistance.

    Hi Dawid,

    i am not sure if you Issue is related to security, did you Setup the responsibilities on the cases.

    I have searched a Little try this role Production Manager or duty EngChgCaseApproveAndActivate on your specific role

    Hi

    Thank you for your reply.

    The reason why I struggled with the security role for case management is that we used the Case Management Category Type security feature and was trying roles that were not assigned to Category Type, we were therefore not seeing any cases and the workflow did not work.

    The problem was resolved when we added the security roles to a Case Category Type.
