Cost Center New Entity in AX

Dear All

I just create new entity in AX, in legal entities the new entity "in hierarchy" in genaral tab enabled/checklist, but in cost center the new entity "in hierarchy" in genaral tab disabled/not checklist, how to change it to enable/checklist, please advise, Thank you

Hi,

Can you elaborate on the issue with the cost center? Is your newly setup company a specific cost center that shall be included in the cost center hierarchy or what is it that you try to achieve?

in my ax i've some company setting by implementor ax, each company has cost center in hierarchy, when i add new company not connect to cost center.

i want to connect cost center unit for this company in hierarchy, please advise..thank you

Hi,

Please select the edit button on top. This should bring in a new button that allows you adding your new cost centers. Once you have done that, publish the changes to make them active.

hi..

i've click edit button then select insert, when select inset only legal entity there is no cost centers, please advise, thank you

Hi, have you setup the new operational cost center units? If you already included cost centers in the hierarchy you should be able to add new ones once they are setup.

Hi Cheetoozz,

The cost center should be visible if you select to include a new cost center. Check if you did select to include a cost center when creating the node below the legal entity in stead of trying to insert e.g. a new legal entity.

I've add new cost center in operational cost center units, when i create new entity in legal entity option "in hierarchy" disable cannot be check, how to included cost center when create new entity, please advise, thank you

Hi,

Once you assigned the cost center in the hierarchy the parameter /check box will become active. Please follow Andres advice above.

dear all

I think this issue as below :

here i attached organization hierarchies :

in hierarchy designer : when select edit then insert, in my ax only exist "legal entity" here screen shoot:

so i can't insert cost center into hierarchy..

from my friend AX in hierarchy designer show like this:

any something wrong in my setting ? please advise, thank you
