Synchronization System Filter

Hi, I have a question on Synchronization System Filter in D365 to exclude emails from certain contact. This is the condition for the system filter. so i thought they will exclude emails sent by the contact that contains doesnt fit this condition right? but it still recorded in D365. I'm new to this so correct me if im wrong. Hope anyone can help.

    Hi,
     
    If you want to create a view for the email entity that excludes emails from specific contacts.
    Then the view should be set up like this.
    The following view excludes emails from contacts whose addresses contain spam.

    But I cant use Email Entity for Sync System Filter right? I cant use the Outlook Template here. Can you also explain what does Sync System Filter does? bcs we were advised to use this to filter out spam email?
