Hi
Is it possible to allow a customer journey to send the same mail to the same recipient without ignoring the Deduplication rules?
Currently we have a form where a contact can request to change their Subscription Preferences. In Dynamics we have setup a Customer Journey that sends the contact an email with a link to the Subscription Center. But the issue is that if a contact request to change their subscription preferences more than once, they do not receive the e-mail containing the link.
Is there a work around or did I miss something in my setup?
Kind Regards,
Jonas
You need to set a filter using Form submitted having more than 1 interaction in the last 1 days.
I hope this helps.
How do you create a segment for form submission "yesterday"? The timestamp is an absolute date, not relative.
Hi,
As per below. It's config on the customer journey itself.
MS documentation for reference - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/dynamics365/marketing/customer-journeys-create-automated-campaigns
Thanks,

Hi Dilyana!
Thanks for your suggestion.
The optimal solution would, of course, be real time. However, I think this could be a solution for now.
I'm hoping the release of contextual e-mails will fix this issue moving forward.
The recurring customer journey - how would you setup the end date for this?
Kind Regards,
Jonas
Hi Jonas,
The main consideration would be around do you need it to be real time?
One option is -
1. set up your customer journey as a recurring customer journey with recurrence interval 1 day
2. set up a segment with the people who submitted the form yesterday
That way every day your journey will reset itself and send emails to the people who submitted the form the day before.
Would that work in your scenario?
Thanks,
-DD
