Import Ledger data excel file in General Ledger

How to import excel file in general ledger in D365 finance and operations for one specific month for example July, this excel file has data related to ledger

    How did you prepare the excel? is it the same as the ledger journal line?

    As standard you can use either Excel add-in or Data management for importing journal lines.

    Hi adilD365,

    Use either excel add-ins or Data management.

    You can download the template, fit your data and then import it in system.

    This template you can use to upload your ledger balances. Sample records are available here.

    Hi Adil,

    As others mentioned you can use General Journal data entity to import General journal entries. First make a import template by using export project in data management. Then copy data from source file to import file. Finally you can import the file using import project in Data management.
