Pros and cons with OOB marketing emails

Posted on by 40

Hi hope all is well with you all!

I have worked a bit in D365 Marketing but have never really fully validated marketing emails to its potential. That is why I'm very curious about your feedback regarding likes and dislikes about the existing functionality that today comes out-of-the-box.

What are your experiences after you worked with it? What is good? What is less good and what is there to be desired? After looking a bit in the "Ideas section" for Marketing, I get the impression that people want to see more functionality and better user experience.

The reason I also ask is that I have come in contact with customers who are interested in D365 Marketing. For the tool in an overall perspective, I can see a great benefit if you for e.g.  have connections to other parts within Microsoft's Business Applications such as. Sales.

At the same time, many companies today have a basic need that connects to email. But when it comes to "how good marketing emails" is I feel a little lost, maybe it’s because i don’t have background as a marketeer and cannot fully benchmark it towards other applications.

Someone willing to give their pros and cons?

Sincerely

Carl
