Reservation Entries still exists for the Sales Order in Reservation entry table for which Sales Order has been fully Shipped and Invoiced

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

Can any one help me out with the issue that I have posted a Sales Order shipped and Invoiced fully with Item tracking mentioned and after posting I found that the reservation entries still exists for the Sales Order with Reservation status as Surplus.

Now when I am going to post the same Item for another SO it is showing that Inventory not available as it s reserved by the Sales Order that I have already posted.

Did someone faced the same issue?

Regards

Soumya

Thank you for getting back to my questions,

Do you have anything sitting in your "warehouse shipment" ?

Can you zero out the inventory for that item and add it back ?

For the troubleshooting purposes - can you cancel the reservation manually?

    Hi Wade,

    Thanks for your reply.

The answers to your questions are : -

    1. Yes all the Item Journal Lines are empty.

    2. When I went to assign Lot no for that Item on the Sales Order I clicked on Select entries option and there is requested qty field which is showing that the required qty is assigned the order which I posted earlier.

    3. No its doesn't appear in the Sales Order screen.

    4. Yes all the Qty is Shipped and Invoiced in the posted sales invoice.

    Hi Soumya ,

    Please answer the following questions;

Are all your "item journal lines" empty ?

How can you identify that the item your posting is reserved from the previous sales order ?

Does your previous Sales order appear on the sales order screen ?

Can you take a look at the "posted sales invoice" screen and please confirm that all the quantities were shipped and invoiced

    Thanks,

    Hi,

No, never came across something like this.

    Sounds like a customization?
