Defaulting One-time address toggle to Yes

Hi all,

My organisation has a Customer account for which a large number of Sales orders are created with single use addresses. We don't want any new addresses saved against the Customer account, but are finding that a very large number are because users are forgetting to toggle it to Yes.

Is it possible to set the One-time address toggle to default to Yes rather than No? This is found in the New address screen, accessed from Create sales order.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Edmund,

Can you tell us what did you try?

For example, did you try to create an extension of the "SalesCreateOrder" form, then Add your logic in Init method?

    Thanks,
    Layan Jweihan

This isn't SalesCreateOrder form. It's LogisticsPostalAddress.

Yeah, apologies I mean the Init method of logisticsPostalAddres. I thought it's the "one-Time" customer flag.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Have you tried with the saved view option?

Means, save to "Yes" and save the view as my view, if required you can publish the view to the required people.

    Hi,
In addition to the method described by Paul, you can also use custom development to set the default value of this one-time address to Yes.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Thanks guys,

I am looking for a way of achieving this without custom development at this stage. Saving a View did not do the trick.

If there is no option to configure this, I will look at customisation.

I don't believe it can be done without a customization. In theory, record templates (not saved views) could be an option, but there is already code changing the value of this field, which you'd need to deal with in some way.
