Not able to scan barcode from warehouse android app by Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Hi All,

I configured Warehouse Android app and able to perform the warehouse tasks.

(Dynamics 365 for Operations – Warehousing on the Google Play Store)

Mobile is having the camera and the App is also permitted to access the camera and storage.

Configured the following too:

  • Warehouse management > Setup > Mobile device > Warehouse app field names
    • Preferred input mode > set to Scanning
  • Warehouse management > Setup > Mobile device > Warehouse app field priorities

Still, I am not able to see the camera option to scan the bar-codes.

          Your problem has been solved?And I can't logon on android mobile device,can you give me some details about it.

    Have any special requirements for equipment or about the certificate,thanks.

    Hi Jacky,

    My problem got solved by posting in the MS docs itself.

    No certificate is needed. Hope there might be a problem with your azure account

    (OR)

    you might have added a \ at the end of the URL.

    Either of the above might help you.

    Hello, I was able to use the camera after creating the records in Warehouse management > Setup > Mobile device > Warehouse app field names using the Create default setup menu

    Of course, permissions must be granted for the application...

    As well as Use the camera as a scanner option in the application.

    I create the default setup for the warehouse app field name and it works for me !
