Hi Guys

Wonder if any one can share your experience on fixed asset barcode scanning solution.

How we implement the barcode scanning for FA tracking.

What need to customization? Do we need to develop a program in barcode scanner?

What about the FA master? Do we need to upload fixed asset master by interval else new FA created is not exist in the barcode.

Hope someone can help on this

    I don't think your requirement/question is quite clear. Do you want to scan barcode into Dynamics ?

    Yes, basically i want a solution to do the fixed asset counting via barcode.

    I want to be able to use barcode to scan the FA and system be able to match the FA exist in the system

    Hi Dexin,

    We have barcode setup on fixed asset group level where you can define the barcode configuration for all assets which will fall under any of those groups.

    I think about scanning, it should work with any bar code reader
