Hi all,

Please help me because I am getting that error messages. Here is the situation, I was trying to give the permissions to my receiving department to be able to SHIP and RECEIVE item from the "Transfer Order" that they or the other department has made. The error message pops up right after I click OK to ship the item. I believe it has something to do with the permission of my receiving department. Anyone can help me to solve this problem ? Highly appreciated !

Here are the permission that I give to my receiving department :
ADCS ALL   ADCS User
BASIC   Basic User (All Inclusive)
INVT-POSTED TRANSFER   Read posted transfer orders
INVT-TRANSFER   Create transfer orders
INVT-TRANSFER, POST   Post transfer orders
S&R-POSTED S/I/R/C   Read posted shipments, etc.
SM-SERVITEM   Read service items
SM-SERVITEM,EDIT   Create service items
WM-POSTED PA/P   Read posted put away, etc.
WM-R/PA/A/P/S   Create receipt, put away, etc.

Thanks for the reply ! Really appreciate... but those steps does not solve the problem directly but I have figured out myself on how to solve this problem by slicing out the steps that you have given me.

Hello Karl,

Create a New Permission, for that user,

Suppose Ship AND Receive, for creation you need to Supper user

Open the Permission sets page and create new permission

after newly created permission set, select that permission and then click on Permission Action from Home Tab,

Then click on Start from Action Tab, and then do the ship and receive or what you want, after that stop.

Now assign the Permission to the User.
