Unable to edit NMFC Code on Released Product Form

I am trying to add an NMFC code to a released product (located in the Warehouse Management FastTab), but the field is greyed out and I cannot edit it. I have selected the edit button, so I can edit other parts of the form, but not the NMFC code. I have also already created an NMFC code in the Transportation Management module.

    NMFC Code's cannot be modified on the Released Product, you need to edit them on the main Products form (Product Information Management -> Common -> Products -> Products) instead.

    Hard to believe but in our system right now we can't edit that damned field on the Product either. That stops the show . Can't create BOL without that code populated. No parameter in WHS parameter exists that would somehow disable that field or "those fields" it is also the other code that is not editable A mystery. In another instance on the same platform version the field is editable on the product . Who has an idea

    Hi Evert,

    Is your question related to AX2012 or the current Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations? I know that there was an issue and a hotfix might be available on LCS issue search.

    Yes, for Dynamics 365 there is a known issue and solution on LCS issue search.

    thanks much Andre! we are going to look for it! We have D365 for 2 years and it only became a problem recently .

    Hi Evert,

    If you did search for a more recent thread on the forum, you would have found this post: community.dynamics.com/.../308868 It was indeed a quite recent issue.
