Hi All,
My client wants to use handheld device for stock take. I have done setup barcode code on Item card --> Item Cross reference --> Cross reference type is barcode --> input barcode number into field "Cross reference no."
Then from sales line, I place mouse arrow at Cross-Reference No. --> scan item --> then nothing come out.
Please advise do i need to do any NAV configurations before using barcode device.

1st check the Barcode Scanner is working properly or not, to check it just open the Notepad and try to scan the Item and see whether it is printing the number on the Notepad.
If it is Printing then there is no problem with the scanner & drivers you need to look into Navision in this case.
If it is not printing then you need to verify things with the barcode scanner and driver issue etc.

Just try like this Open notepad and scan the barcode from product using scanner and check whether it is displaying the value
