Hi,

I have created an AzureDevBox on LCS and copied the UAT database to it, the environment is working fine, synchronized and when I check SQL I can see the new DB, I changed connection in web.config but when I access AxdW data warehouse, I can see the entities are empty, I tried modifying the dbo.sysserverconfig by adding the batch record in dbo.batchserverconfig

but seems still the AxDw tables remain empty. any idea how to refresh the data warehouse ?

Thank you

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

you should be able to refresh the Entity Store on your dev box going to System administration > Set up > Entity store and doing it manually or enabling the automatic refresh. Isn't that working for you?

    Hi Adria,

That is the idea, I refresh it manually and I have it set for automatic and I see the message, that batch job is scheduled to reset the data, but nothing happen, tables in AxDW remain empty.

I am sure somewhere a connection is missing ,the new database imported at some point is not configured to refresh the data warehouse, maybe, I guess,, not sure.

    thanks

Is the batch service started? And are the batch servers on D365 selected undes System Admin -> Setup -> Batch groups tab Batch servers.

Yes , all exist, I just managed to refresh it by manually changing the status of a previously created job FULL RESET in batch job.

have no idea why the system didn't create the job after I clicked refresh, as I received a message that it is scheduled, but it was never created

I faced an issue where my entity store - aggregate measure were not refreshing, I clicked on the refresh button (system admin - entity store - aggregate measures), but it doesn't refresh.

I go to Batch Jobs and find the batch job name 'Full reset' and change its status to execution. This batch job refreshes the entity store so once the batch job is in execution, the entity store is refreshed.
