We are just about to start using lot tracking on some items. When we had our training on NAV we didn't think we'd use it so we didn't have the training on it.
I have been provided with a manual on it and am managing to work my way around it and have managed to set up the item tracking code and apply it to an item.
However I am struggling on where to go to set up the lot numbers and expiry dates. I know you can set it up as a number series but we need to record the lot number and expiry date that our supplier provides us with so I need to find where we I go to set these up.
Also we will be bringing into our system a lot of stock from a company that we have acquired and we will be bringing this in on an item journal - can I set up the lot numbers for these through the item journal?
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated
