Couple of things you need to check in addition to what Jim Ji already mentioned.
--- Is there any duplicate exchange rates available for any pair in system? If yes, then it may lead to this issue.
For example; in the exchange rate type, BHD-USD pair as on 1/1/2020 is 2.650. And at the same time, you may have a reciprocal relation of these two currencies available in the same exchange rate type like USD-BHD as on 1/1/2020 is 0.380
If you have found any such duplicates, then run a query to find out those duplicates first and then remove it.
Generally system will not allow you to create such a reciprocal relation in the same exchange rate type unless and until you push such records from any 3rd party application through a batch job.
--- Are you running data mart during downtime or during the working hours?
--- Is there any batch jobs running in the environment which is continuously pushing huge data from any 3rd party application?
