Post sales order invoice on the same date of the packing slip

Our users post packing slips during the day as they fulfill orders.

At night, after the warehouse shuts down, after midnight, we run a single scheduled batch to invoice all sales orders that have been during the day

Is there a feature / option to tell the invoicing to post the invoices into the same date of the sales order packing slip?

For accounting and reporting reasons we do not want the packing slip to be in one day and the invoice in the following day

Hi,
You can view documentation on invoice date control. The documentation states that you can configure chronological control of invoice posting dates in a specific sales tax book section. But changing the invoice posting date based on the packing slip date may not be an out-of-the-box feature.

I agree with Hana, we don't have any out-of-the-box feature to post the invoice with packing slip and it needs to be customized.

Hello,

I don't think so we can define rule for defining the invoice date posting parameter while batch job. It might pick up the date same as batch job run date and time.

There is one parameters in AR > Setup > Parametres. Update
