Dataverse search returns results with empty columns

Posted on by 22

Hello,

We have enabled the Dataverse search in the past months. We have migrated thousands of records.

When I search for records, the results I am getting contain records with empty columns.

When I open one of the records with empty columns, and search again, the results contain the previously empty columns correctly.

What can be done to be able to get all the information in the results?

The same behavior occurs in all of our environments.

    Hello,

We were told that this happens when records are imported into the environment or if a view was imported after record has already being imported -  a rare issue that happens after data import, or view import.

We managed to resolve this issue, following these steps:

We removed the columns from the quick find view and updated them on the 'Searchable' option to no.

    We published all the changes.

We added them back to the quick find view and updated them on the 'Searchable' option to yes.

    We published all the changes.

As a last step we disabled Dataverse search on the environment and re-enabled it.

The next day the results were not blank anymore.

The bad thing is this needs to be done for all the entities in the dataverse search, which can be very time consuming.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately not yet.

We have raised a ticket for MS, I am updating the post when a solution is found.

Dalele I am experiencing the same issue in an environment for the Contact table. Did you succeed in solving this?
