Hi Experts,

Can anyone solve this error? This Production Order only contains Production BOM, no Routing No.

Have you selected routing no. at Released Production Order?

Try to create one more production order in test database and see if you are getting same error?

Have you assigned any Routing links to the items in the Production BOM?

As Alexander mentioned, there must be Routing Link Code attached in your Production BOM.

Remove the value from this field, as your are not using Routing for this particular Item...

    Hi Vishal,

This Production Order only needs Production BOM, and it doesn't need Routing. We didn't create routing for this Item.

I did test. When I hit "Refresh Production Order", the BOM name displayed in the BOM field, but it had no BOM information in Component, which was actually an empty BOM.

    Thank you!

    Hi Vishal,

We didn't set Routing Link Code in this Production BOM. Now it's blank.

Do you mean that, you do not need any routing lines for this item and hence you have not selected any routing code at Item Card and also the BOM No. selected at Item Card does not contains any Item lines, and still you are facing such issue?

Try creating new production order and see if you still face similar issue.

Have you recently done any changes in the program?

    Yes.

I created a New Production BOM. Now, it works well. I don't know why.

From the window page, I can tell that the old BOM has "active version", though it only has no alternative BOM.

I created a new one, and I didn't fill in "active version" field. Now it works well.

There must be some active version with old BOM having Routing Link Code and hence could be showing you the error message.

Anyways, it is good that you were able to resolve the issue.

    Thank you for you help.

I tested the old BOM, and I found that when I click "Refresh Production Order", then close the order page and reopen it. The old BOM works...

I feel like close page and reopen it makes the Prod. Order activate.

I am not sure the reason but the issue must be related to BOM data.
