We have noticed that several of our journeys, which are very simple "A one-time journey with a static audience" (basically they are just sending an email to a static segment) are not automatically switching to the completed status after several weeks. In the journey editor, their status is still "live".
Stop the journey, verify segment has members, and restart the journey
Restarting the journey often resolves this.
Note: Even if you later add contacts to a static segment, a one-time journey will not pick them up if it has already created a snapshot.
Ensure the segment is published and populated before starting the journey.
Use dynamic segments or recurring journeys if you want ongoing contact processing.
