Sales Quotation

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience importing sales quotations to 2012 (this will be R3 Cu10).  

I don't see an entity for it in DIXF, I can probably create one but I feel like writing a simple X++ (using AXSalesQuotationTable, AXSalesQuotationLine) job to do the import from an excel/csv file.  I'm guessing it wouldn't be as simple as creating an entity directly to the sales quote tables as they would have created an entity to do that if they could.

    It is probably quickest to do the import script...

    But here is a nice thing that you might consider if you have other stuff planned for import as well.

    Hi Dougq,

    Almost every release Microsoft added new entities into DIXF. Indeed the sales quotation has not been implemented yet, so you could create your own. When it is not available it is not because of impossibility; it is about the need and priority (I guess). Have a look at the sales order table and line entities for an example. The creation of an own custom quotation entity could be compared with this one for the complexity.
