How to set LetterText on word document templates

Hi all,

I am setting up new document layouts for our invoices in Microsoft Word. In the XML there is an option to add 'LetterText'-field: BodyText, ClsoingText, GreetingText & PmtDiscText:

I would like to add a ClosingText on my invoice templates. But I'm not able to find how to set the text that should be displayed for the 'ClosingText' field. Where can I find these settings??

Thank you in advance.

How to set LetterText on word document templates
    Hi all,

I was finding the same question today.

@Yun Zhu thanks for confirming that it is indeed hard coded.

I am wondering if there's any possibility to request Microsoft to add this labels as "setup" in a table?

In addition, while sending an email, I understand that the email address that we send "to:" is the e-mail field in the Customer card.

However, I am wondering, about the "CC:" field.

Is there a way to put a "CC:" email while sending emails?

    Thank you!

Hi, unfortunately, as kenvdhorst mentioned, this can't be done, it's hardcoded in the variable.

And these variables are not protected var, so they cannot be modified in the extension. The only way is to copy this report and create a new one.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Can we access global variables from page extensions or table extensions? Yes, But……

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    HI JR61,

I'm experiencing the same issue. As far I can see; there's nog option to fill in these variables.
