Hello all,

Does anyone have an experience with bank statement import (MT940 txt format) ?

We've configured AIF services properly and MT940 file seems OK but still have the following issue : An error occurred while importing data.

Classe : BankStatementImport

I didn't find any technical documentation about the AX Bank Statement Data Model.

Help would be appreciated.

Greg

Can you add the complete error message?

    Error message :

An error occurred while importing data.

    \inbound\Bank statementXXX\Bank StatementXXX.txt importing failed.

1 files are found with error.

I cannot see any error in the file based on MT940 standard specification format... so I'm looking for a way to check where the issue come from. The txt file is converted to XML format by the system to be able to load it.

    Thanks for your help.

Try to find any detail in the exception log of AIF.

The AIF log detail give me this information :

Invalid document schema. The following error was returned:  Type 'schemas.microsoft.com/.../sharedtypes:AxdExtType_BankStatementNameText& is not declared.

It seems to be an issue with the file format... I'm trying to see where the issue come from.

Not many bank provide the facility to download bank statements in MT940 format (or in BAI2 or ISO20022) format.

Is there a way to convert XML into MT940?

    OR

Is there a way to convert Excel into MT940?

Not? what format is it than? I only get that format. And importing the file into a ledgerjournal works fine. But the import (or better the transform from file to xml, which ax does on its own) does not work in a proper way

I am unable to download statements into MT940 at all. My banks do not even give me the option. The only options available with Barclays and HSBC is Excel, PDF and XML. What bank are you with?

Its a pain that we XML,excel format into Dynamics.

Does any know know if there is a way of doing that?
