Hi,

We have configured a lookup field in the Opportunity entity. This field will have a set number of options. Recently we noticed some of these options were changed. How do I check who edited the lookup fields?

You could chech audit log to find who did change the value.

Go to the particular record and we have one tab call audit history just click on that you can see all the changes who had changed before that you need to make sure you sales entity is check under the system setting and particular auditing must be checked under that entity for you reference please check the below screenshot. Still you have any doubt please let me know

    HI Jason,

If lookup options have changed means your related Entity record has been modified/updated.

You can Enable auditing on your Related Entity of your lookup field to know who has modified the values. If Related Entity records have been deleted from the system then you would not be able to track who deleted that record but if only values are updated the you can check Audit History in your related table of lookup field.

    Hope this helps!

We recommend that you enable auditing of entities and fields.

    Hi,

Thanks for your help. The entity I wanted to check was a lookup field used by the Opportunity entity. I found that the entity that the lookup fields are not audited, so I couldn't identify who edited the record. I can set the auditing to true moving forward to track future updates.

    Sincerely,

    Jason
