Hi ,
I am working on project invoice proposals . A new invoice format was to be added lets just say its formatA .This invoice format has to be come by default when we are creating a invoice proposal .
Now I added the code in the editInvoiceFormatForProjProposalJour() of ProjInvoiceProposalDetai Form Extension and also at the place where the enum values are populated .. but the default value remains Detail invoice
How can I achieve this . it is always showing me the default to be detailed invoice format . need to default it to the new format .

Why don't you make use of the new business documents that are available in the electronic reporting workspace.
Using them works out of the box and does not need coding.

Thanks for this suggestion Ludwig . But i cant help it ...its a business requirement ..i need to make customizations as mentioned in the question
I see there is a parameter on ProjParameters of Default invoice layout but I cannot find the place where its reference is being taken to update the invoice format on invoice proposal
Please check the project contract.
There you can define the default layout.
That's the one you might want to change.
