Dear All,
For a contractor, we do not have the compensation tab enabled, unlike an employee.
in this scenario where do we maintain the basic compensation/daily rate of the contractor during Hiring?
with regards
Mukharjee
Hello Mukharjee,
Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics Communities! I ran through this scenario and performed the following steps:
1. In Human Resources, click Personnel Management | Workers | Contractors.
2. I selected my contractor in question.
3. I clicked on the Compensation and I selected Fixed Plan.
4. I clicked on New
5. I filled out the form and was able to successfully save the compensation data.
As part of my testing, I did have to implement the compensation level on the Job associated with the position. If these steps do not work, I would recommend logging a support request for this issue.
hello,
as far as I know, we cannot maintain the contractor's salary in Dyn365 HR. they must be employees.
There must be 3 conditions met, simultaneously: Active Position Assignment, Meet Eligibility Requirements, Not a contractor.
you could define them as employees and add the contractor dimension in Position Type = Contractor, on the positions.
best regards,
nicu
