ReportReport

Hi ,

In my D365FO environment we couldn't find the export to (excel, CSV ,Word .etc.) options in the report and it's showing the PDF document only .

How to enable this option .

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Do you mean these options shown in my screenshot are missing?

Do you try to check with admin user?

Does this case happen in all reports?

    Hi ahmed,

    Have you enabled this parameter?

    docs.microsoft.com/.../preview-pdf-documents

Can you check if the issue is resolved if you disable it?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig ,

Yes I have enabled the parameter and it's only render the report as PDF in the same application workspace and if it's disabled system will open PDF viewer in another popup or a new tab in the browser.

The export option is indeed available only in the report viewer form, not in software rendering a PDF file. It seems that you print to screen in the first environment and to PDF (not to screen) in the other environment. Isn't it the case?

    Hi Martin,

I'm trying to print the same report in both environments and the destination is to screen only in the both cases (Please check the attached image).

If you agree with me that you get a PDF file instead of a printout on screen, then you should look at why the setup you showed above isn't respected. It answers your question why you don't see export options, and gives you a new, more relevant question. Which is progress. :-)

Which report it is about? Isn't there any logic in its controller that overrides print destination?

    Hi ,

Actually if i selected in screen option i am expecting to see the report in the screen with options for print and export as well and i have seen that in another environments as well

and this pdf viewer not for specific report but it is for all reports in this environment for instance (Ledger transactions,Dimension statement ,Vendor invoice , Free text invoice, Ledger journal ) and all of these are out of the box reports.
