Hi All,

I am facing a strange error while AX Database synchronization.

I started the sync and below screen appears.

I do not get the buttons visible to continue the sync.

I tried restart of AOS,SQL and performing the DB sync again.

Option C worked..... Ax32.exe -lazyclassloading -lazytableloading -StartupCmd=Synchronize

Installed an ISV solution and going through the process- finished compilation, full CIL and stuck at DB sync

Please try to start a db sync from the command line, like so:

a) open a cmd

b) cd "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Client\Bin\"

c) Ax32.exe -lazyclassloading -lazytableloading -StartupCmd=Synchronize

let it run for at least 10 minutes, and see if you get the same window; if you do get it and unable to carry on run this instead of c)

cleaning the usage data did not work.

I also tried deleting the local cache files and this did not work.

Yes I did ran Full CIL with no errors.

I will try the usage data and try now.

Well, you may be right in it is a strange issue. The screen you are showing is indeed the screen between the two phases of the sync, and of course, is the screen where you would review the changes in the physical database, and press Continue or Cancel. I do not think this is fixable by standard means. I would suggest you open a case with Microsoft.

Hi,

Have you run a full CIL compilation with no errors, before running DB sync?

Have you tried to clean your "Usage data" and then run the DB sync?

It may be a visualization issue. Let me know if it helps.

I waited all over the weekend :(

Just wanted to share some more information.

This VM is hosted in Azure deployed via LCS and a demo VM.
