Can not insert a record into Inventory journal lines table

Hello,

I get an error message when I try to cancel a credit note.

Error message:

Can not insert a record into Inventory journal lines table

What could be causing this error message?
I am using Dynamics D365 for finance and operations.

Is it the only infolog message and isn't there any link?

By the way, I moved this thread from the Dynamics 365 general forum, because it's about F&O and not D365 in general.

Hi,

As Martin said, usually there is not only this one error message, most of the error messages will tell you the reason for the error and even how to fix it. So you can check again if there is only this one error message.

Can you provide more information (e.g. full error screenshots, system settings, etc.) to help us better solve the problem? At this time, the information you have provided is not sufficient to support us in proposing a solution.

Hi,

In addition to the error I already sent, the only thing the system gives me is a warning.
I am sending a full screenshot below.

To explain the process to you. I have already posted a credit note. Now I want to cancel it. When I try, I get this error message.
In the posted credit note, a service item with quantity -1 and list price is used.

Never had this kind of error message.

Hi Mirza it looks like some customization issue you can ask the dev team to debug.

Further can you please also try to add the Quantity as it seems missing in the warning
