AX2012 TO AX7 UPGARDE: Should LCS be open all time during code analysis

Well, I have uploaded my AX2012 ModelStore file for code analysis and upgrade to AX7.

I have got a question here, Can I close LCS website or my machine, during code analysis or that has to be open as must? In other words is it must that LCS site should be open all the time during upgrade process (code analysis).

I haven’t got any documented answer yet by Microsoft. But my personal observation says it should work, without my presence, because I have given it what it needs (it needs 2012 model store file, that I have given it already, so my presence(LCS Site Open) should not matter).

    Hi Sohaib,

    When the code analysis is running you can shutdown the LCS site. Only when you do the upload of the zip-file you need to have it open.

    When you come back later, you can watch the status.

    you are absolutely correct.

    well, apart from question, I am surprised to see I haven't faced any issues. It just took around 90 minute to complete code analysis. I went with 100% success. I haven't faced any errors or delays. Not sure why. Because usually I have seen people complaining about errors and delay. My model store was having size of around 4 GB(non-zipped)

    Surprisingly, no error though my origin for this case/client was ax2012-CU7, though Microsoft recommends AX2012R3-CU9(as origin)
