Stop depreciating when reaching minimum value

Is there a way to setup a fixed asset, being depreciated using straight line, to stop depreciating when reaching a minimum value?

For example

Asset is acquired at $5000, and we will depreciate untoil we reach down to $500, at which point Depreciation Proposal will no longer pick up that asset for depreciation.

    Hello Zvika Rimalt,

    My expectation is that D365fo / AX is doing that by default. Have not tested this in the latest version but as far as I remember this worked in previous versions.

    In which D365fo/AX version do you experience this?

    The question is for D365.

    It seems there it is indeed out of the box feature, set up on the "Book" level there is a field "Leave Net Value At" which allows me to specify the net value, under which the asset would no longer depreciate.

    My only issue with that feature that it seems to be on the Book level only, and not specific to an asset, so I can no longer use a single book for all my assets, but need a separate book per each minimum level I need.
