unified interface dynamics 365 calendar control "Error Loading Control"

Hi,

The calendar control on dashboard show "Error Loading Control" and the error details as follows:

         "Error occured during initialization of control: MscrmControls.Calendar.CalendarControl;Message: dataSet.generateAdditionalAttributes(...).done is not a function"

The browser console show error downloading the JS webresources as follows:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)

I need help to know what permission and where it needs to be provided to make the calendar control work

    Hello,

    This looks like a bug for me. You should get in touch with Microsoft and ask for support.

    Are any of the fields supplied to calendar control (start date, end date, description) are having field level security? (just guessing)

    It is wise to contact MS Support here.

    Please capture network trace via browser tools or fiddler towards these 401, 403 to understand more on what is happening here.

    Hi,

    Created  MS Support ticket and got the following answer:

    From Microsoft  Summarizing our discussion - You were having issues with the calendar control in the UCI where you are getting an error - "Error occured during initialization of control: MscrmControls.Calendar.CalendarControl;Message: dataSet.generateAdditionalAttributes(...).done is not a function". I found that this is a known issue with Microsoft and that a fix has already been made. This fix is currently in a release train and getting deployed across all the GEOs. Your CRM instances are both in CAN (Canada) and NAM (North America), the CAN CRM instances will get the fix by 1/4/20 while the CRM instances in NAM will get the fix by 1/25/20.

    Now, waiting for the update and hoping it will be resolved.
