I am learning AX on self-study basis. Seek guidelines and steps to be performed to create packed products from bulk items.
I would be thankful if I can find the answer and guideline.

Consider setting your packaged product as "Auto-report finished". This is what I would call a Build to ship model. This will allow you to auto-generate a BOM Journal to consume bulk items when the packaged product is either pack slipped or invoiced (depending on Inventory model setting associated with packaged product).
Pros: you do not keep packaged product inventory - only bulk items.
Cons, maybe? We used to have problems with MRP exploding through these items - may not be an issue with AX 2012.
Hi - see if you can find training materials on Process Manufacturing, and "Consolidated Batch Orders"
Hi Jawad,
Are you referring to the process where you create a bulk item in manufacturing and then based on that create different packaging sizes based on that?
That is a pretty lengthy answer to that that the "Process manufacturing: Consolidated batch orders" would cover.
Start here:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh352178.aspx
In general you would create your main batch item and then your packaged items. Then create a conversion rate from these.
You then create a batch order and then create a consolidated order to which AX will suggest your packaging sizes.
Good luck.
