    Hi.

Although timeline control buttons aren't configurable, I found out how to hack them.

Basically command definition must be set to empty object and then control must be refreshed.

You can find TypeScript snippet here: https://gist.github.com/sergeytunnik/59476d80c0786e71522565ed65b554ec

Of course this is not supported configuration :)

    Hi Lu Hao,

Thank you for the reply, I already hided those buttons on form level based on the scenario.

It should not hide or remove privilege for all users based on the scenario it should act for the users.

If we modify security role it may effect all the users permanently, this should not happen as it should only show/hide based on the scenario.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Sumanth,

Unfortunately, there is no supported way to do it.

Timeline does not support such customization.

Moreover, even if these two buttons are hidden, the user can still enter this activity to assign or close it.

    1. Assign

We can modify the user's security role to prevent them from assigning activities.

    2. Close Activity

You can refer to the solution in this post: https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/microsoft-dynamics-crm-forum/250310/prevent-users-to-mark-complete-or-close-the-task-in-dynamics-crm
