Package installation error on build machine

Dear All,

Receiving this issue while installing the package,

This is on-premise build machine

The step completed
Executing step: 2
Update script for service model: AOSService on machine: localhost update AOS service Error during AOS update: Exception calling "CreateRuntimeProvider" with "1" argument(s): "Serialization version mismatch detect, make sure the runtime dlls are in sync with the deployed metadata. Version of file '201'. Version of dll '198'."     Please check the version of your package, likely your package is higher version than your environment.

    How can i check that ?

    I receive the package from the vendor, and i am installing that package on my premise build machine.

    please elaborate the steps which i can follow to validate the gap

    If you have LCS, you can see it from LCS. 

    If you, go to unzip the package, right click properites on the AXUpdateInstaller.exe and details tab, you can see this for example this is version 10.0.26

    How can i translate the given version as i have the below one at my side.

    This package i receive from vendor and trying to install it on on-premise build machine.

    As I can see your screen shot, this is 10.0.25 Update 49

    HI Yuan,

    My build machine is running 10.0.17, and the package version as you mention is 10.0.25 and it is higher.

    so the problem happening with me. am I right ?

    if it is the case what should i do to resolve this issue ?

    Appreciate if you mention the technique, how to figure out the version number

    Sorry to jump in here.

    Now that you have established that your VM in not up to date with the DP; the advised sequence is to first apply 10.0.25 service update on your machine, then apply the package you received.

    you can look at the version update package on LCS.

    You would need to update your environment to 10.0.25 first or deploy a new one with 10.0.25 then update with this package (higher version is fine, as long as not lower because is backward compatible)

    Can i update the existing VM 10.017 to 10.0.25 directly OR download another updated VHD ?
