Hello,
Is it possible to add tax % during product creation and populate the tax % automatically while creating the quote product?
That will avoid each and every time we add a quote product adding the same percentage amount again and over again.
Is the Tax% field available while creating the product? Do I have to add it and customize JS to meet this requirement?
Do you believe this is the most effective approach?

usually this kind of requirement is done using plugins, as the quantity or the amount can be changed outside of the web interface.
You need to create a field to store the tax percentage and the plugin will put the calculation result inside the oob tax field.
