I’m trying to better understand the benefits and challenges of integrating ERP and PLM. I know one is more focused on managing material flows, financial data and similar aspects of the business while the other is mainly focused on managing product data but there seems to be some redundant functionality. Given that Dynamics AX and Teamcenter have been integrated before, it would seem someone has developed guidelines for normalizing the functionality in the two suites but the only link I could find on the Dynamics web site that seemed to have anything to do with AX/Teamcenter integration kept taking me to the Calloway Golf case study, not to the paper indicated by the link.
Can anyone provide links to any papers that discuss this integration?
