Event Settings - online streaming option not available

Hello,
we conduct several live webinars a year. For all our live webinars we use the option /stream this event online/.

Suddenly, this option looks different (I don't know when it changed). I still have the possibility to click on /stream this event online/.

But there aren't any settings shown, which usually must be set up - here's a screenshot which settings in the past had to be set up, but now are not shown any more.

As a result there is no teams URL automatically generated which I could share with others.

In addition, in the past when a conference was set up as /live/ the webinar automatically appeared in my outlook and the speaker's outlook.

Now nothing happens.

Can anyone help?

Hi Partner,

When i toggle to 'yes' to enable it:

The following columns will be shown in this same section:

There are two points to note:

1.Check if your browser rejects pop-ups

When I toggle to yes for the first time, a pop-up window loads on the interface, after which those hidden fields are displayed

2.License:

To use Microsoft Teams as an online event provider, you must have a Microsoft 365 license that allows you access to the Teams service. If you do not have the correct license, you will not see the Teams webinar, Teams meeting, or Teams live event options as a part of the Streaming provider list.

According to the following document:

Once a live event or meeting is created or updated and the producers and presenters are added (by adding team members and speakers), the meeting will show up in their Outlook calendar and in their Teams calendar.

Thanks for sharing this issue, I faced something similar when setting up online events in Dynamics.

While exploring streaming options I also tested a few third-party platforms, for example PPCine, just to compare experiences outside of Teams. Of course, for production events, the Microsoft setup is the most reliable.

Hi,

The missing online streaming settings occur when Teams integration for Marketing Events is misconfigured.
> Check Marketing Settings → Online Meeting Settings and ensure the correct Teams instance is linked.
> Without this, Dynamics cannot generate a Teams URL or send automatic Outlook invites.

> Workaround: manually create the Teams meeting and update the event record.

Re-linking Teams in Marketing Settings usually restores the automatic streaming and invite functionality.

Dear Tanja,

in some implementations I noticed that sometimes this happens when the same you are using to configure this is missing the necessary M365 license or Teams license. Enabling pop-up would also be the way to go. Make sure the user has the Teams license.
