Sales Order and Customer billing rates

Hi,

Wanted to know if it is possibile to setup billing rates per customer per service, and what are the steps to configure it and use it.

For example I have setup a Sales Hierarchy and added a category node as Chemical.

Wanted to know how to default the unit price based on each customer per sales category.

We are mainly using services, tried to change delivery type to direct delivery but got a validation message "It's not possible to select sourcing through order chains for category based lines."

What is the best practice for our senario?

I think defining prices are possible through two options

    1. Sale agreement

    2 Trade agreement

now in  trade agreement you can define pricing with required combination but not based on category i think, you need to use group for that

    Thanks Saurabh,

I have created a trade agreement journal against an item, I am receiving a validation message "There are no active price search dimensions." However I was able to post.

The issue I have now, is that if I create a sales order for the item CL1 the default unit price is coming from item setup which is 500, instead of the trade agreement based on the unit quantity range.

I believe I am missing some steps, and need your guidance here.

    Hi,

I found the missing configuration. We need to activate price/discount then it works.

Then I went into my next step which is applying different unit price for different rates, but the message of no active price search dimensions came again, and the unit price seems like to be picked from the session date and not the Requested ship date or Requested receipt date.

Wondering if there is a date in the sales order that can be used to select the unit price from the trade agreement?

Found the configuration under AR Parameters, prices.
