How to follow opportunities where I am not the owner

Hello - In my organization, I can visualize my Sales Dashbord; as I am the owner of these opportunities.

However, I would like to "follow" other opportunities where I am not the owner, but those have an impact on my Sales Dashboard as well (I could be co-owner, for example).

So in my Sales Dashboard, I would like to see my opportunities but also add other opportunities as well.

Is there a way to do that ? We have tried to "share" these opportunties, but I don't see them in my Sales Dashboard.

Thank you!

First of all you need to have read access to those opportunities(this could be through sharing), and once you do, you would need to create a view that includes those opportunities. ('All opportunities' should show you all opps you have access to.) If you have a chart, make sure that chart is not using the 'my opportunties' view, but the 'All opportunties' view.

Hello Dian; thank you for your answer!   I have access to all the opportunities, but would like to follow only some of them; they are not necessarily based on a filter, and can be random (for example, I would like to pay close attention to Opp 1, 3, 7 and 9 that are led by one of my colleague, + my own opportunities).  I'll do some test with the Sharing option, it's something I haven't tried yet.  Thank you again!

    Hi ZabiDID,

There is actually the ability to 'Follow' opportunities as well. If you select an opportunity you can click the 'Follow' button on the command bar. The system has a view called 'Opportunities I follow" where you can see the opps you 'Followed'.

PLEASE MARK THIS AS VERIFIED IF HELPFUL
