We are experiencing an issue with the Swiss QR-bill QR code for sales invoices in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations version 10.0.48.
The city and ZIP/postal code of the customer are missing from the data encoded in the QR code image, even though the customer address is maintained correctly and the city and ZIP/postal code are available in the corresponding separate address fields.
As a result, the QR code image does not contain the city and zip code information.
Although Microsoft introduced a new feature related to the Swiss QR-bill functionality in version 10.0.46, this does not seem to have resolved the issue for sales invoices. We of course activated this new feature.
We also noticed that the relevant Electronic Reporting configurations for this functionality do not appear to have been updated by Microsoft since 2021. Based on my investigation, it seems that the QR code image and its encoded data are generated by X++ rather than directly by the ER configuration.
I found a similar known issue in LCS, but it appears to refer specifically to project invoices. In our case, the issue occurs with sales order invoices.
Has anyone encountered the same issue with Swiss QR-bill sales order invoices in version 10.0.48?
If yes, how did you resolve it? Was a Microsoft fix required, or did you have to make a customization in X++ or ER?
Any insights or working solutions would be greatly appreciated.
