Aim of Travelling Too/starting a Work Order on the Day, Rather Than Travel Too/Complete the Work Order on the Day

Hi Everyone,

Quick One from Me.

A main KPI Driver for our Business is to arrive on the day, rather than arrive and complete.

It seems the Native Feature of D365 is to only schedule if it thinks the Resource can Travel/Complete as per the Estimated Duration.

We have some manual work arounds to try, but wondering if any of the experts on the forum have faced this, and have systematic approaches to resolve.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Pete

Hi James, For Resources that work on what we call Long Duration Work Orders, we have extended their working hours so they will still be Routed Long Duration Work Orders.  It is not ideal but gets an ok result.
