Bridging a Lead and Opportunity after creation

Hi,

I've created an opportunity without going through the proper process. This means, I didn't go through a Lead first, then qualify it and then convert it to an Opportunity.

Now when it comes to reporting using Power BI, this opportunity can't be linked back to a Lead since I didn't do it properly. Is there a way to fix this - bridging the two ?

Thank you

    Hi Partner,
Now, let's see what happens when you qualify a lead into an opportunity.
--The new created opportunity will be related to lead through 'Originating Lead' lookup field automatically.
Choose the lead that the opportunity was created from for reporting and analytics. The field is read-only after the opportunity is created and defaults to the correct lead when an opportunity is created from a converted lead.
So you can manually update the field on the opportunity with one lead if you want to bridge the lead and opportunity after creation.
--Add the field to the opportunity form, which can make us update it easily.
If it's more detailed, you'll need to update the accounts and contacts associated with lead on the opportunity.

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
