i am a user of microsoft dynamics navision r2 , and i want to know about the workflow process .

Hi,

You can either use the standard system workflows by clicking on 'New Workflow from template' or you have to customize new workflows according to your requirement by creating functions with events and subscribers.

Hi Tina ,

Thanks for giving me suggestion ,

actually am using 2013 r2 . are you sure it would works ?

because in this version when i am searching workflow then it shows no page , report or veiws were found .

hi,

upgrade to NAV 2016..2017 .. take a look here for workflow technology www.slideshare.net/.../nav-2016-workflow

..you can use also "Microsoft Flow" with NAV 2013 and Web Services to create complex workflows (great product!)

I followed your steps (two parts) to create custom workflow but when send request button on action the statues v

changed to pending but no request is sent to approver user in nav

AE999,

When a User sends the Approval Request it does change the status to Approval Pending. After an Approval is Approved the Status changes to Released or if Rejected the Status update accordingly and the User will need to read the Reject Comments and correct.
