Transactions per ledger account

Hi All,

In AX 2012 and previous version user could browse to the chart of accounts, select an account, and view all transactions for that account (the "Posted" button on the action tab of the Main Account form)

In D365FO this option seem to no longer exist.

Anyone found an alternative way to view all transactions per one account?

The only thing I could come up with is going to "Voucher Transactions" and filter by specific account, but that is a bit cumbersome, and does not show you "total" accounts.

Any thoughts?

    Hi Zvika,

    You mentioned one alternative. Another one is opening the Trial balance form. Then you can calculate balances and drill down into the detailed transactions. Path: General ledger > Inquiries and reports > Trial balance

    The downside of trial balance is that it is a bit cumbersome - first one has to calculate all balances for COA, and only then can drill into full list of transactions...

    The irony is that the "transactions" form is still there, and accessible from various places. just not from the Main Accounts form. I guess that would not be a hard customization.

    Hi Zvika,

    Adding the menu item is not hard as extension, but ensure the menu item/form will not be depreciated in future.
