Hi,
Is there any way to disable some (not all) of the BP rules when compiling the code?
Thanks,
Hi Yuji,
You can choose to cancel.
Thanks Blue,
This is configured on Visual Studio. If I want to disable the BP rule when compiling from Azure DevOps Build Pipeline, how can I do that?
Did you check VS> d365 > options > bp rules ? You can enable and disable rules from there
Nikolaos explained it that in his below blog
community.dynamics.com/.../check-best-practices-during-check-in
I did follow Nikolaos article. But my question is how to disable some of the BP rules during automation build. From the VS, I have a UI to configure, but from Azure DevOps, I don't have the UI to configure.
I am thinking, can I log in Build Server and open VS, then disable rules? That will disable the rules when Azure DevOps trigger the build pipeline because Azure DevOps is actually using Build server to build.
One more question, in the VS, we can choose what kind of rules we would like to enable/disable. How can we specify the same thing in the *BPSuppressions.xml file?
You can find an example of item with same Moniker from the BP warning you get in compilation list.
